An imaginative weave of fiction, actual history and myth, Aramotu  is a film of breathtaking scope, nearly epic in dimension, richly evoking the lush colors and authentic traditions of the Yoruba world that the colonial Westerners met in the 19th century.
From the stable of Treasure Chest Entertainment, written and directed by Niji Akanni, Produced by Femi Ogunrombi (Papa Ajasco)  Aramotu features a galaxy of stars, including  Alagba Adebayo Faleti, Peter Fatomilola, Kayode Odumosu, Ayo Olabiyi, Gabriel Afolayan and Ireti Osayemi-Bakare. ,  

The exceptional performance of virtual newcomers, Idiat Sobande as 'Aramotu', and Bisi Komolafe as 'Arike' will become a referemce point in the history of film acting in Nigeria.
